Our physical therapists are licensed health professionals. They work with our skilled nurses, under orders set by the physician, to help you restore lost strength, mobility, coordination and balance. As you would expect, exercise is the cornerstone of physical therapy. Our therapists will develop a plan of care that incorporates a variety of rehabilitative approaches and equipment to build muscle mass, improve bone density, and increase your stamina, allowing you to work harder and longer over time.
Improving your overall physical fitness can lead to dramatic improvement in your quality of life. You can do more without getting tired, whether that means taking your grandchildren for a walk, dancing one more dance or carrying your groceries from your car. We will provide you with a customized program of exercises to do on your own so that you can stay mobile and independent.
We want our patients to continue their experience with our rehabilitation when they return home. We offer outpatient rehabilitation services that allows patients to return to our centers to receive a continuity of rehabilitation with the therapists and programming that our centers provided during their stay. The goal of this service is to continue recuperation and have long term results. Outpatient rehabilitation services are also offered to those who need rehabilitation in the community but do not need to be an inpatient at our centers.
Orianna Health Systems centers provide an expanded range of clinical services to meet each patient’s medical needs working with orders set by the physician. Our skilled nursing services meet the needs of medically complex and chronically ill patients during the transition from hospitalization, admission to the center, and throughout your stay with us.
We treat patient needs with interdisciplinary teams, led by our licensed nursing staff. These teams consist of physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, activity directors and dieticians, all working toward one objective—to help patients restore their desired quality of life.

For individuals needing longer stays, we create a warm and positive environment in which our patients thrive. This allows time with family and friends enjoying meals, activities, exercise and spiritual peace in a place you are happy to call home with the security of residential assistance and skilled nursing.
Our centers can provide palliative care that combines medical care with emotional and spiritual support. Hospice care may be the right choice for anyone in the end stages of chronic disease, such as cancer, dementia, emphysema, ALS, diabetes, or HIV/AIDS. The decision to enter a hospice is the most personal choice anyone can make. Faced with a terminal illness and limited life expectancy, you or a loved one may choose palliative care and/or hospice care.
