Welcome to Anchor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Aiken. Our 60 bed skilled nursing center is located on the beautiful South Side of Aiken near the entrance of Woodside Plantation and next door to the Hilton Garden Inn. We provide a wide range of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for both short stay recovery, as well as ongoing supportive services for individuals requiring long-term care. Our focus is on improving the quality of life for those we serve through our orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, wound care services as well as interventions for other medically complex diagnoses, admitting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We strive to make your surroundings and your overall experience at our center one that will not only be successful but will also result in your returning home with more friends than you had before your time at Anchor!

I was admitted to Anchor in April, unable to walk, bath or do the most basic of one’s daily activities. I was at Anchor Health & Rehab for 7 weeks and when I left I was walking on my own and no longer needed any assistance in taking care of my own needs. The therapists are very experienced and knowledgeable as well as caring, compassionate and persistent. The persistence definitely paid off! I’ve been coming to Anchor for a number of years for a variety of reasons. I initially went to Anchor once a week to volunteer. Sometime later my wife became very ill and we were fortunate to have her taken care of by the staff of Anchor Health and Rehab. The staff were great with my wife. They seemed to anticipate her needs quicker than I could. They would take her down to the beauty shop to have her hair styled. I think the hairstylist could make her feel better than any of the doctors, nurses or therapists! She participated in Church services several times a week as she usually did when she was home. She did therapy twice a day, five days a week. She wasn’t a very active 83 year old, but she knew she had to do the work in therapy in order to regain her independence… and, that she did. Thanks to all of the staff at Anchor! We really appreciate all you did for us as a patient and as a family!”

Anchor Rehabilitation and Healthcare will be holding its Fall Extravaganza on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anchor will be hosting several events during its Fall Extravaganza, including: Its 2nd Annual Craft Fair; Camp Long will be on hand to assist with a car wash. Cars will be $10 and trucks and SUVs will be $15; Agape Hospice will be on site to host a walk/rock-a-thon. The event is open to the public. All monies raised will go to Anchor's Christmas funds and to improve services offered to residents. Anchor Rehabilitation and Healthcare is located behind the Aiken Mall at 550 East Gate Drive.
