“Over the years I have been a patient at Anchor Health & Rehab three times. When I was in the hospital the first time around, my doctor told me I had to go to rehab upon discharge. I had no idea where I would go. However, within only a few hours I had several people highly recommend Anchor to me. So, that’s where I went the first time, the second time and now the third time! The staff are very professional. They take care of everything you need. The facility is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The therapy is wonderful! A really great team of therapists work with me twice a day five days a week and I am scheduled to discharge back home in a little over a week.”

“Anchor Health & Rehab is a great place to go when you aren’t able to go home after a hospitalization. I never thought I would need assistance in taking care of my basic needs. When I found myself in this vulnerable, helpless situation, someone recommended Anchor Health & Rehab. I am so glad I took their advice! The facility is beautiful and the people who work there seem very happy, always sharing a smile or kind word. I was admitted to Anchor in April, unable to walk, bath or do the most basic of one’s daily activities. I was at Anchor Health & Rehab for 7 weeks and when I left I was walking on my own and no longer needed any assistance in taking care of my own needs. The therapists are very experienced and knowledgeable as well as caring, compassionate and persistent. The persistence definitely paid off! If I find myself in such a compromised position in the future, I now know there’s an excellent rehab facility in Aiken!”

I’ve been coming to Anchor for a number of years for a variety of reasons. I initially went to Anchor once a week to volunteer. Sometime later my wife became very ill and we were fortunate to have her taken care of by the staff of Anchor Health and Rehab. The staff were great with my wife. They seemed to anticipate her needs quicker than I could. They would take her down to the beauty shop to have her hair styled. I think the hairstylist could make her feel better than any of the doctors, nurses or therapists! She participated in Church services several times a week as she usually did when she was home. She did therapy twice a day, five days a week. She wasn’t a very active 83 year old, but she knew she had to do the work in therapy in order to regain her independence… and, that she did. Thanks to all of the staff at Anchor! We really appreciate all you did for us as a patient and as a family!”
